19 may 2005 - Plauen, Germany – zajezdnia/depot Wiesenstrasse. The rather fabulous Plauen works car conversion of a KT4-D. Like the little Gotha works car, it is in superb condition, so probably doesn’t see much action. It does serve as a useful moving advertisement for the tramways, though.

In 2005, all services were worked by Tatra KT4-D cars, with no sign yet of the low floor disease that was spreading to other German cities. The main tramway junction in central Plauen is at the bottom of a very steep hill, which car 218 has just descended.

9 august 2006 - Plauen, pętla Południowe predmieście. Mikroskopijnych rozmiarów sieć, a co za tym idzie kilkunastominutowe czasu przejazdu powodują, że często spotyka się te same wagony. Zdecydowanie polecam Plauen! Sam chętnie tam wrócę :)

9 august 2006 - Plauen, Bahnhofstrasse. Tramwaje nie mają tu łatwo - teren jest dość górzysty. Ulica Dworcowa to główny ciag miasta - wspinają się tędy prawie wszystkie linie.

9 august 2006 - Plauen, Bahnhofstrasse. W mieście, gdzie ponad 90% przewozów przypada na tramwaje "piątka" jest linią łączącą dwa dworce: górny i dolny. Kiedyś to zadanie spełniała dwójka kursująca pod sam budynek dolnego dworca - została jednak zawieszona. Teraz od "piątki" trzeba sobie zrobić krótki spacer.
