30 march 2004 - Nottingham, UK – Shipstone Street. A NET tram suddenly pops out across Radford Road between houses as it leaves the narrow Shipstone Street to rejoin the inbound single track. Even the police car driver is a little surprised to see it and has to swerve out of the way. The trams had only been running for a few days, and people hadn’t got used to them.

30 march 2004 - Nottingham, UK – Old Basford. A NET tram conductor. He looks surprised to have his photo taken - he would be more surprised if he found his photo on a Polish web site five years later! Carrying a conductor to sell and check tickets on each bus or tram was always normal in UK until about 25 years ago – some are now coming back, because of security fears and to make sure everyone pays to travel.
