Colorfull LED? I think it's LCD... And eOn is right - Irizar New Century.
It is LED. Colour-LEDs have 4 different coloured diodes inside each "bulb", varying the strength of each of them lets you display almost any colour. The technology is not very new, but they are not common, as they are quite more expensive than the standard ones. On this model only the line number part of the display is coloured, the rest is standard orange.
Do Irizar actually call the model New Century? What a terribly silly name. What then when the next generation comes? The only thing that is for sure is that this is third generation Century.
1. Do you know what is cheaper? Colour-LEDs or LCD? 2. I'm not sure about the name because it's hard to tell which version is good but we call it New Century
1. I have no idea how much they cost in comparison, but I guess a LCD strong enough to light up at daylight needs to be very strong and take a lot of power, but I know that these displays from Mobitec are LEDs and not LCDs. 2. Well, I'm not going to rename it to New Century. But all Centuries since mid-2005 have looked like this, so I don't see the point in telling which version it is.
